The cost of college is outpacing not only inflation but parents wages and what many grads can hope to earn when they finish school. Burdened with debt, millennials are deferring major adult decisions including the purchase of a car, first home and even applying for fewer credit cards than previous generations. The consequence of unsustainable tuition costs will not only be felt by these young Americans but our economy at large.
