Monica Mehta talks with Adam about why jobs are the most important aspect of restoring our economy. She reveals frightening statistics about the trends of saving money in this country, and explains why it’s important to take financial risks. Later, Alison starts the news talking about the Amber Alert that went out on cell phones across Los Angeles. They also discuss a violent fight on a school bus, and why parents engaging their kids is so important. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about why everyone is a racist, and the 50th anniversary of the cassette tape. Listen to the episode at AdamCarolla.com

Monica: I’ve heard both your appearances on the Adam Carolla Show and I think you bring an important message and perspective to the show. I agree with 100% of what you said today (and last time). But at the end of your segment today when Adam asked you for three tips to give listeners, I think you missed a major tip which is probably the most important: know what you spend. Far too many people have no idea what they spend each month, may not even be aware that they’re spending beyond what they earn. Isn’t that the first thing people should understand? Even before saving? Know where your money is going. Thanks for your time. Kathy
Really enjoyed you on AC! Brilliant and very funny.
